Ivan Mateljak, member of EvoEnzyme, participated on 17th December in the Workshop: “Enzymes as Biosensors: the revolution of directed evolution of proteins” focused on biotechnology and protein engineering.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the power of directed evolution and one of the most promising applications of these engineered enzymes, such as in the Woundsens project on healthcare, developing innovative biosensors for continuous wound monitoring.
