As previously announced, the WoundSens project was at the 2025 edition of The World Conference on Carbon in Saint-Malo (Brittany, France) from June 29th to July 4th, represented by the team from Institut Jean Lamour (IJL).

Romain Chevigny delivered an oral presentation on his work preparing and functionalising new carbon nanomaterials with high electrical conductivity for our smart bandage.

The lecture titled “Graphite exfoliation in water medium using pulsed plasma and high-power ultrasonic treatments: Towards surface functionalisation in reactive media” sparked the audience’s curiosity and led to an engaging Q&A session. It’s clear that the WoundSens initiative is capturing attention wherever it goes!

Let’s recognize the potential of the innovative technology we are developing for chronic wound monitoring. Committed to a better future in healthcare!
